Basic Wheaties breakfast (5)... gotta keep an eye on all this since tonight we're having dinner with dad and tomorrow there's water championships in Long Beach (good luck finding low point stuff there), and Sunday is Grandma B's birthday bash at Joe's Crab Shack... ewwww, it could be an ugly weekend... (on the plus side, weight this morning after breakfast was 223 [gotta love the first few days getting back on the program... always good for a few quick pounds!])

lunch: a little leftover rice and salmon (2), plus a sandwich with a new high-fiber wheat bread (just 1 point), lite turkey (2), cheese (2), lite salami (1)... 8 points, but I'm stuffed and should be satisfied until dinner (Yolanda's)...

OK, so it's now Sat. AM... last night the points went all to shit: Yolanda's veggie plate: I'm figuring (between the rice and sauce) at least 7 points... plus 2 points for albondigas soup, and 2 more for chips (I really was vigilant on those)... but then we went to the Corey's and I had two of my rum drinks (I'm figuring 4 points apiece)... then when Lisa needed to go to Urgent Care for some really nasty and infected bug bites, I had some salami (1) before leaving to pick up the prescription... it took all the willpower I had not to hit a drive-thru on my way -- out of stress -- [full disclosure: I did pull into the parking lot, but the line was too long]... so full day total: 33... that's bad

Good job on the drive thru..I have been there, many times. The taste is never as good when you have the guilt.
